I've been blessed that my personal history has always had a soundtrack, and a diverse one at that. I began exploring music at the age of 6, and committed myself to a life of classical percussion. Though that road led me to some phenomenal places, including a summer playing abroad in Europe, I also was pulled by more popular music. Since adding drum set to my repertoire I have performed with church choirs, in more than 12 musicals, and accompanied jazz, blues, latin, and folk musicians as well as a stint in a pop-core band that professionally released an album. While spending time on the road and living out of a van you have to find things to distract yourself. I took an interest in learning other instruments and discovering how vital quality sound and audio-engineering is to good music.

I devour music and am constantly striving to learn more styles and instruments. I'm excited to learn about you, your interests in music, and using my love and interest to make you happy.

I fell in love with music at an early age.  By age 7, I was singing along to "The Phantom of the Opera" soundtrack for my parents' dinner parties and began vocal training at age 9 to focus on classical music.  Later in middle school and high school, I found a passion for musical theatre, performing in local community theaters as well as school theatre, while still training classically.  I continued with classical and musical theatre training through college.  Over the past decade, I have auditioned, performed, and competed my way around Kansas City.  I started singing in weddings when I was 14 years old for friends and family and grew to enjoy helping others celebrate their most important day.  I have experience not only with classical music, but also country, musical theatre, gospel, folk, Disney, and hymnals, among others.  I would be happy to learn anything you throw my way!
